Peut-on déjà supposer de l’identité du vainqueur de Civil War II ? C’est la question qu’on se pose alors que la Maison des Idées annonce une nouvelle la série consacrée à Captain Marvel en mettant l’emphase sur sa nouvelle cote de popularité et les ennuis qui lui incombent.
La nouvelle série permet surtout à l’éditeur de présenter la nouvelle équipe créative. Coté scénario : Margaret Stohl. Plus connue pour ses travaux dans le milieu littéraire (Beautiful Creature), les lecteurs de Marvel ont notamment pu découvrir son travail avec la création de la Veuve Rouge.
Stohl sera aidée par l’artiste Ramon Rosanas, ce qui laisse songeur quant à l’avenir de Astonishing Ant-Man puisque le dessinateur présidait à la destinée du minuscule héros avec le scénariste Nick Spencer depuis 2014.
Captain Marvel #1 sort en octobre sous une couverture de Dave Johnson.
