Depuis le mois d’août, l’éditeur Marvel dévoile des « aperçus » de la seconde vague de titres Marvel Now intitulée « All-New Marvel Now ». Cette semaine est consacrée aux séries du scénarise Brian M. Bendis post-Battle of the Atom, et plus particulièrement ce qui semble être un futur crossover entre les titres All-New X-Men et Guardians of the Galaxy dont les dessinateur réguliers Stuart Immonen et Sara Pichelli sont crédités.
Selon les dernières rumeurs, les termes « Trial » et « Judgement » font référence à un nouveau chapitre de la saga du Phoenix; une entité cosmique de la destruction et de la renaissance communément liée, dans l’esprit des lecteurs, à la mutante Jean Grey.
Le crossover « The Trial of Jean Grey » en 6 chapitres réunira les « All-New X-Men » aux héros des « Guardians of the Galaxy » pour sauver la jeune Jean Grey, enlevée pour répondre de ses « crimes » en tant que Phoenix.
L’évènement sera partagé pendant tois mois entre les deux séries « All-New X-Men » et « Guardians of the Galaxy » à partir de février.
Sérieux encore ? Avec à priori et en suivant la VO, je trouve qu’encore une fois certains scénariste n’ont pas digéré la différence entre rendre hommage ou s’appuyer sur le passé pour faire du nouveau et refaire le passé sans rien apporté.
