Image Comics is gearing up to release Tigress Island, a five-issue limited series launching in March 2026 from writer Patrick Kindlon (Gehenna, Stringer) and artist EPHK (Harpy). The new series promises a raw, pulp-fueled ride packed with attitude, excess, and bare-knuckle chaos.
Set on the lawless Tigress Island, the story follows a group of washed-up starlets who are kidnapped and dumped into a brutal jungle prison run by a ruthless, velvet-gloved warden. Trapped in a nightmare ruled by cruelty and manipulation, their only chance at survival is to unite, break free, and stay one step ahead of betrayal waiting in the shadows.
Billed as a sweat-drenched blend of action and exploitation, Tigress Island leans hard into danger, double-crosses, and explosive revenge, channeling classic pulp mayhem with modern bite.
“This one is for every reader who isn’t getting enough flavor in their weekly comics haul,” said Kindlon. “From concept to characters to execution, Tigress Island is unapologetic fun. High craft. Lowbrow. Awesome.”
Artist EPHK emphasized the project’s grindhouse roots while teasing unexpected depth. “We set out to capture the soul of 80s and 90s sexploitation “straight-to-video” movie classics and somehow ended up with so much more. No one is ready for this!”
Tigress Island #1 arrives from Image Comics in March 2026, kicking off what looks to be one of the year’s most unapologetically wild new series.
C’est aux lecteurs de prendre un feutre pour dessiner les pupilles des personnages ?
