Sur Wonder Woman, c’est pas top quand même.
C’est lent, avec des épisodes de pause. C’est très robinsonien. On dirait son début sur Superman. Après, j’ai aussi l’impression que le cahier des charges est super pesant. J’aimerais bien le retrouver sur une série où il serait plus libre.

Jim, sérieusement, DC te donne le droit de jouer avec Darkseid. Ca vaut quelque chose quand même.
J’avais bien aimé le premier arc, mais je n’avais pas continué au-delà sur le moment. La sortie du deuxième TPB m’a donné l’occasion de rattraper un peu de retard avec les #7 à 11.
Le #7 par Cullen Bunn et Clay Mann est plutôt pas mal, avec son ambiance un peu horrifique. Ce traitement de l’atmosphère par Bunn et Mann est d’ailleurs ce qui permet de faire passer, sans que son côté un peu artificiel saute tout de suite aux yeux, la construction d’une anti-« Trinité » Batman / Superman / Wonder Woman en rassemblant Ra’s Al Ghul / Lex Luthor / Circé. Le numéro introduit le concept des « Puits de Pandore » (avec un clin d’œil à la continuité New 52), qui si j’ai bien compris joueront un rôle dans la suite de la série sous la houlette de Rob Williams. Pour le moment je n’ai pas tout compris de l’intérêt supposé de la chose, on verra bien.
Le #8 est un tie-in « Aftermath » de Superman Reborn, toujours par Bunn au scénario et cette fois Lupacchino au dessin. J’avoue que je n’ai pas réussi à m’y intéresser et j’ai fini par survoler pour atteindre plus directement l’arc principal du TPB.
« Dead Space » (#9-11) marque le retour de Manapul aux manettes le temps d’un dernier triptyque. Plus (ou moins) qu’un titre sur la « Trinité » proprement dite, cet arc peut quasiment être lu comme un arc de Justice League déguisé. Nos trois vedettes sont téléportées sans avertissement à la Tour de Garde où les autres membres de la Ligue s’avèrent avoir été mis hors jeu par des parasites extraterrestres. L’affaire se révèlera néanmoins un peu plus compliqué qu’il n’y paraît (ok je confesse que le vieux fan de Cowboy Bebop en moi a pensé très fort à l’hypothèse du frigo en panne… mais ce n’était pas ça). Au final cela donne plutôt un bon récit avec ce qu’il faut de tension, de retournements de situation et de nobles sentiments, même si la fin pèche un peu avec un épilogue un poil vite expédié.
Que ce soit les numéros contenus dans le 1er ou le 2e TPB, c’est tout à fait le genre de série que je verrais bien en VF en kiosque sous l’étiquette Récit complet Justice League.
D’après les sollicitations d’avril, l’arc de James Robinson sera le dernier de la série.
