One of the Ultimate Universe’s mightiest heroes is breaking off on their own mission!
Spinning out of ULTIMATES, ULTIMATE HAWKEYE #1, starring Charli Ramsey, AKA Hawkeye, will be the first solo one-shot of the new Ultimate line. The issue will be written by Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas and B. Earl, the duo behind acclaimed series like Daredevil & Echo and Werewolf by Night; drawn by rising star artist Michael Sta. Maria, known for his recent acclaimed work on Sabretooth: The Dead Don’t Talk; and feature a framing story by hit Ultimates creative team, Deniz Camp and Juan Frigeri. Today, fans can see all the covers and a never-before-seen first look for the highly anticipated issue, hitting stands on September 24.
The variant covers for ULTIMATE HAWKEYE #1 include stunning artwork by superstar artists David Mack, Lee Garbett, Leirix, Declan Shalvey, Ejikure, and Carmen Carnero. In addition to Hawkeye, the covers also spotlight Exterminatrix, the deadly villainess who made her Ultimate Universe debut in last week’s Ultimates #14. In their ongoing quest to take down Roxxon, the company who ravaged their community, Hawkeye will go undercover into Exterminatrix’s twisted world where they’ll witness the darkest depths that Earth-6160 has to offer. In order to escape the madness, Hawkeye will have to confront a formidable opponent who they share an eerie connection with—the all-new ULTIMATE RONIN!
