Le scénariste Cullen Bunn mettra un point final à la saga débutée dans Venomverse et Poison X (crossover entre les séries Venom et X-Men Blue à venir en mars) dans Venomized, une mini-série hebdomadaire en 5 épisodes qui sera à nouveau dessinée par Iban Coello.
Dans Venomized, les Poisons, prédateurs naturels des symbiotes à travers le Multivers (et dont le leader est un Thanos-Poison alternatif), vont s’en prendre à la Terre. Leur but : exposer tous les surhumains aux symbiotes Klyntar…avant de les consommer et de les assimiler !
Si le symbiote était déjà apparu en 1984 dans Secret Wars, sa fusion avec Eddie Brock remonte à 1988 dans Amazing Spider-Man…ce qui fait donc 30 ans cette année. On a donc pas fini de voir du Venom décliné à toutes les sauces (et en plus, il y aura le film en octobre)…
