Les prochaines élections présidentielles américaines s’annoncent particulièrement tendues entre les candidats Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton et… Loki ?!?
Voici le nouveau teaser dévoilé par la Maison des Idées lors d’une interview avec le site comicbookresources. Le responsable éditorial Axel Alonso parlait alors d’une nouvelle série publiée dans la collection Max (pour adulte) sous le crayon d’un dessinateur qui vient d’essuyer une crise personnelle (s’agit-il de Reilly Brown qui vient de découvrir, en rentrant d’une séance de Deadpool, que son immeuble a été touché par un incendie ?).
Loki est l’un des grands gagnants de l’exposition des super-héros au cinéma. Après avoir montré les meilleures intentions du monde (enfin presque) lors de sa résurrection dans la superbe série Journey Into Mystery de Kieron Gillen, le personnage a créé sa propre équipe de Jeunes Vengeurs avant d’œuvrer comme Agent d’Asgard pour le compte des Mères de tout.
On le retrouvera bientôt sous les traits de l’acteur Tom Hiddleston dans le film Thor : Ragnarök alors qu’il usurpe la place de son père adoptif Odin.
A n’en pas douter, sa soif du pouvoir peut l’emmener loin.
On annonçait la participation de Loki aux prochaines élections présentielles il y a à peine dix jours que Marvel Comics en remet une couche, aujourd’hui, en proposant aux lecteurs de donner leurs voix au Dieu du mensonge, dans les 23 prochaines heures, lors d’une campagne sur sa page twitter afin de promouvoir la nouvelle série prévue pour juin.
Si l’éditeur ne révèle aucun détail sur l’équipe créative impliquée, il présente cependant une première couverture régulière signée Tradd Moore (qui vient de conclure la dernière mini-série Luther Strode avec le scénariste Justin Jordan) et la couverture alternative de Valerio Schiti et Israel Silva.
Après Lex Luthor, le Docteur Fatalis (2099) et Captain America (Ultimates), Loki serait-il en passe de devenir le prochain président d’un célèbre univers fictionnel ?

En tout cas un autre personnage Marvel a lui aussi fait campagne il y a quelques années :
Lors de la convention C2E2 de Chicago, l’éditeur Marvel comics a révélé que les auteurs aux manettes de la série Vote Loki sont le scénariste Christopher Hastings (The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl) et le dessinateur Langdon Foss (Bucky Barnes : The Winter Soldier).
Vote Loki #1 sort en juin 2016. Contrairement à ce qui avait été suggéré, ce n’est pas une série de la collection Max.
