Après Iceberg, la deuxième annonce concernant le projet ResurrXion de l’éditeur Marvel Comics nous ramène à l’Arme X.
À l’origine, il s’agit d’un projet militaro-scientifique gouvernemental chargé de transformer les mutants en armes vivantes. Le projet est surtout célèbre pour avoir torturé le « meilleur dans sa partie » : Wolverine. Mais d’autres surhommes comme Dents de Sabre, X-23, Maverick ou encore Deadpool en ont fait les frais.
Ces dernières années, on a découvert que le Projet Arme X est en réalité la dixième (X) expérience du Projet Arme + pour le développement d’une nouvelle race de super-soldats (Captain America étant considéré comme l’Arme 0).
La dernière fois que plusieurs membres de l’Arme X se sont rassemblés, c’était après la mort de Logan dans l’ennuyeuse maxi-série Wolverines supervisée par Charles Soule et Ray Fawkes.
Aucune équipe créative n’a été annoncée pour le moment.
La sortie de Weapon X #1 est prévue pour l’été prochain.
90’s power. Bon ben voilà les séries de filles s’arrêtent (bye bye A-Force et Mockingbird) et c’est le retour des mutants. sylvain devrait être content le retour des vrais persos.
Le projet Arme X est de retour et il compte bien exterminer tous les mutants cette fois-ci. Les vieux « ennamis »Logan, Dents de Sabre, Lady Deathstrike, Domino et Warpath ne seront pas de trop pour endiguer cette menace qui s’annonce plus mortelle que jamais.
La série Weapon X rassemble deux collaborateurs qui n’ont pas travaillé ensemble depuis la mini-série X-Men : Phoenix Endsong en 2005. Il s’agit du scénariste Greg Pak (The Totally Awesome Hulk) et du dessinateur Greg Land (Uncanny X-Men).
