Wolverine (2020) #20-25
Très particulier que cette reprise de Benjamin Perçy sur Wolverine Post X Lives X Deaths tant les 6 numéros se divisent en deux sections :
Pour la première, nous aurions limite avoir une mini série en plus car cela montre comment Deadpool a enfin été accepté à Krakoa et plus particulièrement au sein de la X Force. Durant 4 numéros, l’auteur démontrera son talent pour écrire le tandem Wade/Logan face à Danger qui a reconstruit sa petite famille de X-Men après avoir été abandonnée par les Mutants.
Nous allons avoir donc un récit très dynamique, totalement décompressé avec beaucoup d’action et de sang mais avec également de l’humour dans ce duo totalement loufoque entre le très sérieux Logan et le Deadpool qui n’arrive pas à abandonner son côté loufoque qui ne cesse de prendre le tout à la rigolade et de casser le quatrième mur. Bref c’est vraiment fun à lire et bien écrit et génialement dessiné par un Adam Kubert en forme.
Les deux autres épisodes traitent de Judgment of X avec les retrouvailles entre Logan et Solem qui devront faire face à une « Mileena » de chez Mortal Kombat et face à un Celeste qui jugera Wolverine sur sa noblesse ou ses tueries. Bref des numéros secondaires, totalement tie-in et qui ne me donne véritablement pas envie de foncer vers l’event en question.

Marvel annonce la Sabretooth War, un long arc de 10 épisodes qui sera publié de Wolverine #41 à 50. Benjamin Percy co-écrira avec Victor LaValle, le scénariste des mini-séries de Dents-de-Sabre.
Wolverine and Sabretooth have one of bloodiest feuds and this January, their rivalry reaches a new peak in Sabretooth War, a 10-part epic coming to Benjamin Percy’s run on Wolverine.
« Sabretooth War » will begin in Wolverine #41 and culminate in the landmark Wolverine #50. Having shepherded the character through the Krakoan age, it’s finally time for Percy to pit Wolverine against his greatest foe. Joining him will be the writer behind Sabretooth’s own journey the last few years, Victor LaValle. They’ll be teaming up with artists, Cory Smith and Geoff Shaw, to deliver the definitive Wolverine and Sabretooth story.
With each issue co-written by Percy and LaValle, the Wolverine-lead chapters illustrated by Smith and Sabretooth-lead chapters illustrated by Shaw, the story will not only explore the pair’s current Fall of X status quos but also shed new light on their dark history with shocking revelations behind their undying hatred for each other.
It’s a war decades in the making and it kicks off when Sabretooth revives a deadly traditio – with some of Logan’s loved ones in the crossfire. Only this time, he has an entire army behind him…
