L’éditeur Dark Horse se lance dans la série jeunesse à destination d’un public féminin en adaptant la web-série Zodiac Starforce, imaginée par deux transfuges des productions de Boom! Studios, le scénariste Kevin Panetta et l’artiste Paulina Ganucheau, sous la forme d’une mini-série en quatre numéros.
L’histoire suit cinq étudiantes douées de pouvoirs magiques qui décident de reformer leur célèbre groupe pour défaire un démon de l’ancien temps. Le premier numéro sortira en aout.
