Près de 10 ans après la sortie de la première mini-série Zombies Vs. Robots, le créateur et responsable éditorial Chris Ryall revient à l’univers qu’il a imaginé avec Ashley Wood sous la forme d’une série régulière.

Chaque numéro se partagera en deux parties. Le chapitre “Inherit the Earth!” est supervisé par Ryall et l’artiste Anthony Diecidue. Il raconte la guerre qui oppose les robots et les zombies. Le scénariste Steve Niles (The October Faction) et le dessinateur Val Mayerik se chargent de “The Orphan” racontant les aventures d’une orpheline et de son robot de garde.

Quant au dessinateur Ashley Wood, il complétera le programme avec de courtes histoires réalisées par ses soins.
