Le dessinateur Juan Bobillo a présenté sur son blog plusieurs images tirées de la prochaine web-série « Infinite » titrée « Amazing Spider-Man: Who Am I? » (qui marquera la deuxième année de la collection), pile à temps pour le retour annoncé de Peter Parker à l’occasion de la relance de « The Amazing Spider-Man ».

On retrouvera aux manettes le scénariste Joshua H. Fialkov ainsi que le dessinateur Juan Bobillo aidé par deux pionniers français du procédé Turbomedia: Geoffo et Mast.

The story starts with Peter Parker having lost all of his memory. He doesn’t know who he is. He’s in the process of robbing a bank, and doing so wearing a full body stocking. He finds out, in the process of the first installment, that he’s Spider-Man. According to the Daily Bugle, of course, Spider-Man is reportedly a menace, a bad guy. At this point he has no choice but to continue along with the scheme. If you remove identity and get to the core of who Peter Parker really is, is he a hero? Does his heroism go beyond Uncle Ben dying, beyond Gwen and Captain Stacy dying? All the people and things he’s lost. All those sacrifices. At his heart—as a blob of tissue, removed from all personality and experience—would he act as a hero, when presented with the opportunities of a villain?

Well, as we meet Spider-Man, his memory is gone, and he’s in the process of robbing a bank. Which, it seems, he’s done a lot of both in the past few months, and after an online search of the Daily Bugle’s archives, over the course of his adult life. He doesn’t know that he IS a hero, but, that heroic nature keeps peeking it’s nasty little head through.
