Alors que la diffusion de la série American Gods se rapproche à grand pas sur la chaine Starz, l’éditeur américain **Dark Horse **annonce l’adaptation du roman de Neil Gaiman sous la forme d’une maxi-série en 27 numéros dont la première salve s’intitule Shadows.
Pour ce faire, l’éditeur a fait appel à l’artiste P. Craig Russell - déjà auteur de plusieurs adaptations des écris de son ami dont Le Premier Meurtre, Coraline et L’Étrange vie de Nobody Owens - et à son collègue régulier, le dessinateur Scott Hampton.
