ASTRO CITY #1-52 (Kurt Busiek / Brent Anderson, Alex Ross)

Après trois ans de hiatus suite à la fermeture du label Wildstorm; Kurt Busiek, Brent Anderson et Alex Ross sont prêt à reprendre leur analyse du comics mainstream débuté en 1995 dans les pages de la série Astro City. A travers le point de vue des citoyens et des héros archétypaux de la ville, Astro City retrace l’évolution du mythe super-héroïques américain depuis sa création.

Le premier numéro sortira en juin 2013 chez DC Comics. Cependant, l’auteur tient a préciser que l’univers d’Astro City reste en marge des autres séries de l’éditeur malgré l’assimilation de Wildstorm et Vertigo depuis le New 52.

Oui, il y a des années, il a fait un empoisonnement à cause de plombages dentaires, d’après ce que j’ai compris. Et j’ai entendu dire que ça a eu des séquelles récentes, mais j’en sais guère plus. Je suis content de le revoir en selle.
