Vault Comics announced the next installment of the Barbaric series will be Barbaric: The Long Death by Michael Moreci and Nathan Gooden.
BARBARIC loves you! AXE LOVES YOU! And he’s giving you his heart, in the form of THE LONG DEATH #1. Our heroes slaughter their way ever closer to the answers to their big questions. Owen learns all about his curse; Soren learns about her curse; Axe gets drunk. The consequences are…BARBARIC.
“So excited that Barbaric is back once again,” said Moreci of Barbaric’s return in a press release from Vault Comics. “The stakes have never been bigger for Owen, Soren, and Axe–we’re digging deeper into each of their pasts, which will inevitably inform their futures. A lot of changes are in store and, as always, it’s going to be epic, it’s going to be bloody, it’s going to be Barbaric!”
“I am so excited to get Barbaric back into the market,” added Gooden in the same press release. “I was thrilled to be a part of Post Malone’s Big Rig creative team and learned a ton in the process. With the continuation of Barbaric, I will be applying some of what I learned to the new pages. The thing that has me most excited for the return is the addition of a new character that is unbelievably funny but important to the back story of our heroes Owen and Soren. Mike Moreci has really upped the stakes with action and drama pouring out on almost every page.”
