Phillip Kennedy Johnson prolonge ici les principes de la série Green Lantern de Geoffrey Thorne, en faisant de John Stewart un homme devenu divinité cosmique, qui aspire à une vie simple mais remet le vert de chauffe pour aller taper du méchant quand son Corps galère. C’est du blockbuster mystique sympathique, un peu simple, un peu facile, qui valorise un peu trop lourdement John ; mais ça se laisse lire. Fernando Blanco livre des planches poétiques, même si c’est parfois un peu fouillis.
En parallèle, Jeremy Adams et Jack Herbert livrent un segment assez vain sur Hawkgirl dans un scénario de jeu-vidéo basique : avancer, taper, récupérer l’artefact. Youhou. Rien de fou, rien d’intéressant, rien de joli non plus.
Un numéro sympathique, mais rapidement oublié.
