Tini Howard livre un segment bien maladroit sur une Wonder Woman placée sur un monde parfait, où Etta Candy devient Présidente américaine alors que les trois tribus amazones ont fusionné leurs foyers pour trouver la paix. Sauf que, en secret, Diana a « livré » Dr Psycho à Gaïa pour qu’elle aspire sa vie, afin de tranquilliser le monde ; Diana se l’était fait oublier, s’en rappelle, conteste, bagarre. Finalement, les Amazones fuient dans l’Espace pour échapper au monde des Hommes, et Diana reste seule pour panser les plaies du monde.
C’est assez naze, il faut l’avouer. Ca va vite, très vite ; trop vite. Le twist sur Diana est assez bidon, l’ensemble n’a pas beaucoup de sens. Leila del Duca livre de belles planches, mais souvent trop claires et donc un peu ternes.
Un nouvel échec pour Tini Howard.
En parallèle, Dan Watters scénarise un segment où Martian Manhunter erre dans un mauvais polar, où les Humains ont pris des allures de Cthulhu suite à son influence. Son inconscient tente de lui dire que tout ça est faux, mais ce J’Onn tue ce lanceur d’alerte, « trop bien » dans le monde des tentacules. Ca n’a pas beaucoup de sens, c’est fort étrange et sans grand intérêt, hormis les planches froides mais avec une belle ambiance de Brandon Peterson.
Un numéro à éviter, complètement loupé.
