I recommend Homunculus by Hideo Yamamoto, a haunting dive into the human psyche, this manga explores trauma, perception, and mental illness through a man who undergoes trepanation and begins to see people’s inner psychological wounds as grotesque manifestations. Visceral, disturbing, and deeply philosophical.
