La troisième série Infinity Comics a voir le jour après Wolverine: Japan’s Most Wanted et Iron Man: Fatale Frontier sera « Deadpool: The Gauntlet » scénarisée par le duo de la série régulière Deadpool; Gerry Duggan et Brian Posehn, et illustrée par Ryan Brown.
Avec Deadpool: The Gauntlet, le mercenaire à grande gueule se retrouve employé par le célèbre suceur de sang Dracula pour exécuter ses basses œuvres.
