Après le Komandar Bloodshot, voici venir Aric, fils de la révolution, avatar du super-héros X-O Manowar au sein de la réalité alternative Stalinverse.
Preuve que le scénariste Robert Venditti en a bien terminé avec le personnage qu’il anima pendant plus de 50 numéros, il laisse sa place à Joe Harris qui signe donc là son premier travail pour Valiant en trois ans (Armor Hunters : Bloodshot).
Diego Bernard, Kano et Cafu participent en tant qu’artistes chargés des couvertures « variantes ».
Aric, Son of the Revolution est le deuxième numéro spécial - sur les quatre prévus - à s’intéresser aux conséquences de la révision « coco » sur le catalogue de l’éditeur Valiant.
Sa sortie est prévue pour janvier 2017 aux États-Unis.
