Il ne manquait plus que lui, le neuvième docteur, incarné à l’écran par le Fantastique Christopher Eccleston. Il sera le sujet d’une mini-série en cinq chapitres chez Titan Comics, et rejoint donc le 10ème, le 11ème et le 12ème Docteur pour fêter les 10 ans de la reprise de la série.
C’est le dessinateur Alex X. Zhang qui se chargera de la partie graphique sur un scénario du spécialiste Cavan Scott.

Si aucune information n’a filtrée concernant l’intrigue, on sait déjà que le Capitaine Jack Harkness et Rose seront de la partie.

Bonne idée, ça…il y a eu très peu de BD avec le 9ème Doc. Va falloir que je me procure le recueil Panini UK d’ailleurs, ceux que j’ai lus jusqu’à présents avec les autres incarnations étaient vraiment très bons…

Originally, issue one didn’t take place on the Lect ship at all. After visiting the destroyed planet, the Doctor tracks a time distortion to the trenches of World War One. There the Germans are being overrun not by British Tommies, but by dinosaurs! My thinking was that we visit Earth at least once before heading back into space. Unbeknownst to me, the Tenth Doctor was about to visit the trenches in an upcoming Weeping Angels arc written by Robbie Morrison, so the idea was scrapped. The Lect themselves weren’t scheduled to appear until issue two, but on Andrew’s request, they made their debut here.
