Le prolifique scénariste Matt Kindt (Unity, Forever Evil: A.R.G.U.S.) réalisera, en collaboration avec le dessinateur Paul Davidson, une mini-série Inhumanity: The Awakening qui verra les étudiants de l’école Jean Grey et de l’académie des Vengeurs réagir à l’apparition de nouveaux surhumains modifiés par les Brumes Tératogène (Inhumanity).
Cette mini-série fait directement suite à Infinity: The Hunt où le scénariste confrontait d’abord les jeunes de l’univers Marvel à l’évènement Infinity.
