La série digitale Injustice : des Dieux parmi nous n’a plus le même impact depuis le départ du scénariste Tom Taylor et de nombreux lecteurs se demandent encore ce qu’il serait advenu du combat entre Superman et Batman s’il était resté aux manettes.
Avec un peu de chance, cette question n’aura plus lieu d’être dans le courant de l’année 2017 puisque l’auteur - actuellement à l’œuvre sur la série All-New Wolverine chez Marvel Comics - a révélé lors du Comic Con de San Diego qu’il s’occuperait de la nouvelle série inspirée par la franchise vidéo-ludique à l’occasion de la sortie d’Injustice 2.
L’auteur explique sa démarche :
Taylor retrouvera pour l’occasion ses anciens collaborateurs, les dessinateurs Bruno Redondo et Mike S. Miller.
Après la diffusion de la bande-annonce d’Injustice 2, l’éditeur DC Comics dévoile la couverture du premier numéro de la nouvelle série.
Le moins qu’on puisse dire, c’est que Bruce Wayne/Batman ne semble pas très heureux d’avoir gagné la guerre contre le despote Superman.
Rappelons que la série marque non seulement le retour du scénariste Tom Taylor aux manettes mais aussi celui de ses partenaires, les dessinateurs Bruno Redondo et Mike S. Miller.
