READY, SET, THWIP!
One of comics’ best innovations is the visual sound effect, and the House of Ideas is celebrating the best of all SFX with our new anthology THWIP! Some of comics’ best creators alongside luminaries from outside the field bring their Thiwpiest stories to bear!A bold new anthology series with a focus on the iconic sound effects from Marvel Comics begins in January with Marvel SFX: Thwip #1, featuring stories by Jed MacKay, multi-Bram Stoker Award and Nebula Award winning author Stephen Graham Jones, and Rainbow Rowell with art from artists Alessandro Cappuccio, Lucas Werneck, and more. Future issues will feature creators including Eric Zawadski, Simone Di Meo, and many more, with additional Marvel SFX series to follow. The first issue features covers by Alessandro Cappullio and Mark Chiarello.
