Oh wow, le machin pourri. Je n’avais déjà pas été convaincu par le one-shot sur un futur sombre, où Khonshu avait corrompu Danny Rand pour en faire son Immortal Moon Knight, avec un vieux Luke Cage qui les affrontait avec ses pouvoirs, l’irradiation ayant fait de lui un Hulk, la puissance de Sentry et le Poing d’Acier d’Iron Fist. Là, on retrouve ce vieux Luke arrivé dans le présent, qui voit l’enterrement de Danny Rand et tente de trouver une voie pour lui dans l’Espace, tombant face à un doux-dingue Aegon The Knife (un Space Knight messianique, apparemment), qui veut et peut tout détruire et couper, et une jeune entité qui vive dans un Coeur Céleste. Tous deux cherchent un Champion pour la Galaxie, Luke refuse mais Aegon détruit le Coeur, et Luke commence à s’énerver même si Aegon l’a vaincu avant.
Wow, c’est pas bon, ça. J’ai généralement aimé tout ce que j’ai lu de Collin Kelly & Jackson Lanzing jusque-là, mais le duo de scénaristes me perd ici. Je n’aime rien de ce que je vois. Ni ce Luke Cage tellement bardé de pouvoirs que ça en devient ridicule même pour un lecteur de super-héros acharné et encore enthousiaste après 27 ans comme moi. Ni cette intrigue spatiale naze, avec ces personnages bidons. Bernard Chang propose des planches correctes, mais plusieurs passages sont moyens graphiquement également.
Concept pourri, personnages pourris, épisode naze. Je n’y reviendrais pas, sauf par curiosité morbide.
