In a twist of fate, four children gained incredible powers. And in a universe full of war-hungry aliens and terrorizing gangsters, they would need them. Thus Power Pack was born! But when an enemy from the past rears its head again, the youngest Power finds herself in a body-snatching nightmare! Big brother Alex better come around — or Katie is toast!
This adventure comes to light as Katie Power revisits family history!

Y avait pas besoin de ça pour que je sois curieux de voir ce que ça donne, mais là, ça titille ma curiosité !
Je crois qu’elle s’est mise à la littérature, tout en militant pour la lutte contre le diabète (dont elle souffre), notamment en travaillant avec une association qui forme des chiens spécialement dressés à aider les malades.
Voilà quelqu’un dont je regrette l’absence dans les comics : j’ai toujours trouvé son écriture plus sensible que celle de Gail Simone (autre femme dans le métier, que j’associe à Devin Grayson parce qu’il me semble qu’elles ont percé à peu près en même temps), et j’ai notamment des souvenirs vraiment enchantés de certaines de ses histoires.
Mais apparemment, l’écriture de BD lui demande trop d’énergie. Je suis content de voir qu’elle revient, même si c’est pour un numéro isolé. J’espère qu’il sera suivi par d’autres.
Devin Grayson : « Part of the story is Katie recounting a never-before-seen Power Pack adventure from the past, so new fans will be introduced to the original team through her narrative and old school Power Pack fans will get to see the team as the kids they remember and love, but also as slightly older kids dealing with the realities of their current lives. We don’t rehash the team’s origin, though, so if new fans get as excited about this team as I hope they will, they’ll have to go back, which would bring them into contact with those amazing original Louise Simonson and June Brigman issues. »
Il s’agit en fait d’un vieil ennemi de l’équipe, le Bogeyman, l’ancien boss du Dr James Power transformé en monstre pendant Inferno. Ca fait partie des épisodes de la série restés inédits en France (Lug n’a publié qu’une trentaine d’épisodes sur les 62).
