Après avoir réalisé la première mini-série sur *The Rocketeer *(Cargo of Doom), le scénariste Mark Waid orchestrera la rencontre entre le héros de Dave Stevens, Cliff Secord, et le héros emblématique de Will Eisner, The Spirit.
Le dessinateur Paul Smith s’occupera de la partie graphique des quatre numéros intitulés Pulp Friction.
Sortie du premier numéro en juillet.

je me rappelle d’un livre que j’ai failli prendre qui portait ce titre…Avant de réaliser que c’était un « roman gay ».
Je l’ai reposé de suite.
C’est le titre d’un Mickey,aussi.
Paul Smith ? Je l’avais presque oublié depuis le temps. Je suis curieux de voir les previews.
Il avait dessiné quelques chouettes épisodes du Spirit en 2008 (et je crois bien que c’est le dernier truc que j’ai lu de lui).
Alléchant…surtout avec Waid au scénar.
Je crois ne rien avoir lu de lui depuis Leave It To Chance. Ca date ! Depuis, je le croyais en train de moisir au fond d’une oubliette. J’espère qu’il n’a pas perdu la main.

Mais en même temps, y a des trucs bien partout. Dans les romans gay, j’avais lu en leur temps les deux CosmoQueer de Kevin Saad sont assez rigolos, quand même…
Et pour en revenir à « Pulp Friction », je me demande si c’était pas le titre d’un projet Gen13 de Matt Haley, mais il me semble qu’il n’est pas jamais sorti…
