Nouveau partenaire de la chaine Cartoon Network, l’éditeur IDW Publishing annonce six titres inspirés des dessins animées supervisés par l’animateur Andy Tartakovsky (Les Super Nanas, Samurai Jack, Johnny Bravo et Le Laboratoire de Dexter) et par le groupe Man of Action (Ben 10, Generator Rex).

Pour cette nouvelle intrigue de Samurai Jack, le héros part à la recherche d’un ancien artefact appartenant au démon Aku, nommé La Corde d’Eons, dont les secrets sur le temps lui permettront de retourner à son époque pour vaincre son ennemi. Le scénariste Jim Zub (Skullkickers) et le dessinateur Andy Suriano (ancien animateur du dessin animé) considèrent cette nouvelle aventure comme la cinquième saison de la série.

Le créateur Andy Tartakovsky se chargera de certaines des couvertures.
