Dans le cadre de sa campagne de publicité pour la seconde vague de titres « All New » Marvel Now, l’éditeur Marvel Comics dévoile au compte-goute plusieurs « aperçus » des nouvelles séries qui sortiront à partir de janvier prochain.
Pour l’occasion, l’éditeur réunit le duo à l’origine du premier numéro de la série Zero, composé du scénariste Ales Kot (Defend) et du dessinateur Michael Walsch, sur un nouveau projet intitulé « Frenemies ». Le terme « Frenemies » désigne les faux-amis; les gens qui agissent comme des proches alors qu’ils sont ennemis.
Toutes les lumières seront faites sur « Frenemies » lors du New York Comics Con du week-end prochain.
Après un court passage en collaboration avec Nick Spencer sur le second volume de « Secret Avengers », le scénariste Ales Kot reprendra la série en main avec un nouveau numéro #1 en collaboration avec Michael Walsch dès mars 2014.
En manque d’effectif, l’actuelle directrice du S.H.I.E.L.D. Maria Hill doit envoyer une nouvelle équipe de vengeurs Secrets au front. D’après Ales Kot, cette nouvelle mouture de l’équipe sera un juste mélange entre « James Bond », « Breaking Bad » et la sitcom « Arrested Development ».

Entre Avengers World, si bien sur la série est proposé dans le mag, qui va avoir 13 numéro en 9 mois, Avengers et New Avengers qui vont avoir 11 numéros chacun en 9 mois, sans compter que certains seront des numéros doubles, plus l’annual 2013 des Vengeurs, l’annual 2014 des New Avengers, le 34.1 des Vengeurs qui est en fait un annual déguise et enfin pourquoi pas l’ajout de mini séries comme celle en ce moment sur Shang Chi, il ne fait pas de doute que le magazine serait déjà bien fourni. Et encore, je ne parle pas de la fin du volume actuel des Secrets Avengers qui va aussi prendre de la place jusqu’a la fin de l’année.
