SIX-PACK & DOGWELDER : HARD-TRAVELING HEROZ (Ennis/Braun)

http://imageshack.com/a/img922/7198/fqPxyg.jpg

In the tradition of the original Hard-Traveling Heroes, Green Lantern and Green Arrow, Sixpack and Dogwelder are ready to bring their allegedly socially aware brand of justice to the lands beyond Gotham City! After the events of ALL-STAR SECTION EIGHT, Sixpack is fighting to keep what’s left of his team together. Dogwelder has gone in search of his past, while newlyweds Bueno Excellente and Guts are dealing with some fidelity issues. Could Section Eight be done for good? But everything changes when a mysterious trenchcoat-wearing chain smoker offers our favorite dog enthusiast some clues about his true nature. Is Dogwelder everything he seems? Or is he meant for something greater?
Sixpack and the gang are ready to accompany Dogwelder to the tombs of the pharaohs in search of his true mission. At least, that’s what John Constantine told them they’re doing, and he’s pals with the Justice League, so he oughta know a thing or two about missions. Dogwelder, unfortunately, has other plans, some as mysterious as the Sphinx.
The world—maybe even the universe—is in big trouble this time, as a distant star threatens to destroy all we know. Who can save us? Could it be Hawkman? The Flash? The Justice League? Perhaps NASA can stop this catastrophe. Otherwise, we might need to ask Sixpack, Dogwelder and the gang to intervene, and the only legit hero who will even admit to knowing them is Constantine—and he’s been kind of a jerk the whole time they’ve known him.
