Après la fameuse série Vertigo The losers et la mini-série DC Green Arrow : Year one, le duo anglais formé par le scénariste Andy Diggle (Hellblazer, Doctor Who, Action Comics) et le dessinateur Jock (The faker, Hellblazer : Pandemonium) se reforme pour un thriller en creator-owned intitulé Snapshot, qui a été publié sur le territoire anglais cette année dans le magazine 2000AD (à partir du numéro 322 de mars 2012) et qui rejoint l’éditeur Image pour une publication américaine dès le mois de février 2013.
Jake travaille dans un comic shop à San Francisco. Un jour, il trouve un téléphone abandonné dans un parc et découvre avec effroi qu’il est rempli de photos dévoilant le cadavre d’un homme. C’est alors que le téléphone se met à sonner et Jake découvre qu’il appartient à un tueur à gage qui s’en sert pour donner des preuves de ses assassinats à ses clients. Commence alors une course-poursuite entre Jake et le tueur, qui veut récupérer son outil de travail et faire taire Jake.

Noir et blanc, je pense. Les pages de preview viennent de la version publiée par 2000AD mais comme les droits du comic book appartiennent aux auteurs, ça devrait être la même chose pour le marché américain j’imagine.
