Star Wars : Forces of Destiny, la série de courts métrages d’animation qui met en avant les personnages féminins de la Saga des Etoiles (Rey, Jyn Erso, Princesse Leia, Sabine Wren, Padmé Amidala, Ahsoka Tano…), rejoint les publications IDW pour une mini-série en 5 épisodes qui sera publiée en janvier 2018 sur un rythme hebdomadaire.
Delilah S. Dawson, Elsa Charretier, Beth Revis, Jody Houser et Devin Grayson seront les scénaristes de ces nouvelles aventures. Aux dessins, on retrouvera Elsa Charretier, Arianna Florean, Eva Widermann, Valentina Pinto et Nicoletta Baldari.
