STAR WARS: SHATTERED EMPIRE #1-4 (Greg Rucka/Checchetto)

L’éditeur Marvel a révélé le titre de la première série qui fera le pont entre la fin de Le Retour du Jedi et le prochain opus de la saga Le Réveil de la Force supervisé par J.J. Abrams: Star Wars: Shattered Empire.

Il s’agit du cinquième titre supervisé par Marvel depuis le retour de la franchise en son sein. Il succède à Star Wars, Star Wars: Darth Vader, Star Wars: Kanan - The Last Padawan et Star Wars: Princess Leia dans le programme éditorial de l’éditeur.

Si aucune équipe créative n’a été annoncée pour le moment, on sait que l’artiste Phil Noto (Black Widow) est impliqué (au moins sur les couvertures) et que le premier numéro sortira en septembre 2015 (soit, quatre mois avant la sortie de Star Wars VII au cinéma).

Le dessinateur de Star Wars : Shattered Empire sera Marco Checchetto, avec qui Greg Rucka avait déjà fait équipe sur Punisher.
