Many different people look up to her, and she feels connected to many different people. So there are things that many superheroes won’t notice that she will notice…walls only she can break through." He also promised some classic X-Men characters and faces from her past alongside brand new characters created for the series.

Ci-dessous, quatre pages de Storm #1 :
One of the reasons I love Storm is because of the conflicts in how she’s perceived and in her own heart. Lots of great stuff to explore there – particularly when Storm’s instincts toward one side of that spectrum come into conflict with her instincts on the other side.
We’re doing a variety of kinds of stories and lengths of stories. I’ve become interested in shorter stories recently, and you’ll see a number of stories that may just run for one or two issues. But they’re all building a larger overarching emotional story that will become apparent as the book progresses.

Throughout the series, we’ll see Storm making difficult choices in complicated situations. She’ll always do what she thinks is the right thing. But others may interpret her actions differently. And they might even be right. And in the fullness of time, we’ll definitely see repercussions from things that happened earlier in the series. I think that’s a big part of Storm’s heroism – taking on tough problems other heroes might not immediately notice and dealing with the consequences.

• Long ago, after she was worshipped as a goddess on the plains of Africa, Storm was stripped of her mutant powers and fell into deep depression. A brilliant inventor named Forge came to her rescue and nursed her back to health, showing her that she is so much more than her superhuman abilities. And a romance blossomed between them. But it was a love made to be broken…
• Now, years later, Storm has the powers and stature of a goddess once more, and she is reunited with Forge. But what does fate have in store for the pair this time?

SPOILER ALERT: At this point in Storm’s story, I’m not interested in having her lose her mind in a way that implies she’s not morally responsible for her actions. We’re not going to tilt into a mind-control tale here. Instead, Storm’s going to face huge challenges that she’ll have to deal with with her eyes wide open. She’ll be entirely responsible for whatever happens, and that’s where the drama—and heroism—will lie.

Voici trois pages de Storm #4 :
I think because of Storm’s experience and history she’s the kind of person who’s going to see things that other people won’t necessarily see. Everybody sees Doctor Doom coming, but not everybody is going to see the small scale horrors or the small scale oppressions and evils in the world and feel that they need to be addressed immediately and in the same way, even though for the people being affected it’s every bit as horrible as being killed by a super villain.
I think Storm has this incredible affinity for and identification with the underdogs of the world. She’s out there hustling for those folks and we’ve definitely seen that in these first three issues.
