Avec The Rocketeer: Hollywood Horror, le scénariste Roger Langridge mixe l’amour du film porté par la création de Dave Stevens et le cinéma d’horreur classique des années 30.
Les couvertures des quatre numéros sont réalisées par le dessinateur Walter Simonson.
