Les deux auteurs à l’origine du revival Six-Gun Gorilla, le scénariste Simon Spurrier et l’artiste Jeff Stokely, collaboreront à nouveau ensemble sur la mini-série The Spire pour le compte de Boom! Studios.
La série suit Shå, chef milicienne et dernière membre de son espèce qui doit faire régner l’ordre à l’intérieur de la colonie minière appelée The Spire. Mais le jour où un assassin laisse une trainée de cadavres sur le pas de sa porte, Shå est chargée de retrouver le tueur par la nouvelle baronne qui n’a qu’une idée en tête: se débarrasser des sous-espèces.
