Le scénariste Jeff Lemire (Justice League United, Black Hammer) rejoindra Matt Kindt (Unity, Rai) chez Valiant en décembre, pile à temps pour l’évènement de cet hiver intitulé sobrement The Valiant. Dans ette mini-série évènement en quatre numéros, Bloodshot doit faire équipe avec la nouvelle Geomancer Kay McHenry et son protecteur, le Guerrier Éternel, pour détruire l’Ennemi Immortel.

Au dessin, les fans de Daredevil retrouveront le trop rare Paolo Rivera qui signe lui aussi son premier travail pour le jeune éditeur.
