This coming September, IDW will be releasing an Artist’s Edition of some of my Fantastic Fours from days gone by. The book will contain issues #337–341 and #353–354. The stories include the tale of the Dreaming Celestial and Galactus, and the Reed/Dr. Doom time fight as well as the FF’s encounter with the Time Variance Authority. And yes, Mr. Moebius was modeled, with his permission, after the late Mark Gruenwald.
This piece is the signature plate. There will be 125 signed copies of the plate that will be bound into copies of the book. I just finished signing them all and they’re being FedExed today, heading back to IDW.

While appearing to be in black and white, these images were scanned in color, allowing the viewer the best possible look at the artist’s intentions: You are able to see blue pencil notations, corrections, margin notes, and all the little nuances that make original art so unique and special.
