L’argument d’Hyppolyta est quand même plus important que l’argument de la Ligue. En quoi Wonder Woman aurait à définir sa garde-robe en fonction de celle des autres ?
C’est un peu le truc qui me semble « léger » (pour rester poli) dans ce run. Wonder Woman ne se définit pas toute seule. Le premier épisode est envahi par la Ligue de Justice, comme si elle ne pouvait pas régler ses affaires toute seule. Ça me semble un peu contre-productif, comme approche, c’est pas tellement comme cela qu’on valorise un personnage.
L’explosion de colère du deuxième épisode (« oui, je craque ! ») est assez ridicule également. À trop vouloir humaniser un personnage (qui n’a pas besoin de l’être), ils finissent par le diminuer.

Ce qui est formidable, aussi, c’est le féminisme à gros sabots de la série. C’est écrit par une nana, mais c’est à peu près aussi lourdingue que les épisodes d’Erik Luke. Chapeau.

Il n’a pas entièrement renoué avec son ancien style, c’est beaucoup plus économe de petits traits, il y a une ligne un peu cartoony, à mi chemin entre ce qu’il faisait il y a vingt ans et ce qu’il a montré récemment. Du coup, sans être particulièrement séduisant, ça montre quand même un peu plus de caractère que le réalisme post-Adams pompier de Finch. Et au moins, Churchill dessine une femme, pas une bimbo à tête de gamine.

Vi, c’est sûr ! Avec une bouche bizarre quand même !
Faudra que je regarde sur papier, parce que souvent, je vois les choses différemment ! Mais ce style mi-chemin n’est pas trop de mon goût au niveau des plans rapprochés !
