Kerry Gammill Superman art (circa 1987).
Post-John Byrne and pre-Death of Superman, there was a nice run on this title by Gammill & writer Roger Stern that unfortunately seems to have been somewhat forgotten. These issues didn’t redefine the genre or the character; they were just good, solid SUPERHERO stories that delivered pure pleasure every month.
J’adore.

Illustration de Dick Giordano pour une miniature Corgi :
Dick Giordano - Original Illustration, « Supermobile » (1979). In 1979, at the height of Supermania, Corgi released a new toy, Superman’s Supermobile. No one ever came up with a good reason as to why the Man of Steel needed a Supermobile, but it was definitely a cool ride. Offered here is a great portrait of a grinning Kal-El taking his new wheels out for a spin (you have to love a car with retractable punching fists). With an image area of approximately 8" x 9.75" and in excellent condition, the art is signed by Giordano in the lower right.

Douce-amère pour DC cette année 1978 : d’un côté le triomphe du Superman de Donner, de l’autre la « DC implosion » côté comics (annulation en masse de titres).
