Le scénariste Greg Rucka (Punisher, Batwoman) et le dessinateur Michael Lark (Daredevil, Gotham Central) préparent actuellement une nouvelle série de science-fiction en creator owned intitulée Lazarus, qui sera publiée par l’éditeur Image Comics en 2013.
L’intrigue prendra place dans un futur proche, dans lequel l’économie mondiale s’est effondrée. Dans ce contexte inspiré par la crise économique actuelle, Greg Rucka narrera le parcours d’une jeune femme génétiquement modifiée, Endeavor Carlyle, qui découvre que rien de ce qu’elle croyait n’était vrai et qui va tenter d’influencer les choses à son niveau.
En même temps, y a déjà les fixettes de Rucka. Mais dans un monde en crise, est-ce encore possible de boire comme des trous et de s’acheter des paquets de clopes par douzaine ?
