Je garde un excellent souvenir des 2 sagas de Claremont.
C’est un des trucs que j’aime bien dans les comics des années 1970 et un peu 1980 : les mecs trouvent des moyens de développer leurs idées, leurs intrigues et leurs personnages en sautant d’un épisode à l’autre, parfois en bidouillant, en taillant dans le gras.
Je donne souvent l’exemple de Wolfman, qui traîne le Doctor Sun de Tomb of Dracula à Nova à Fantastic Four. Je peux aussi citer David Anthony Kraft avec son Man-Wolf, qui fait des pirouettes pour éviter les avanies éditoriales. Y a plein d’autres exemples.
J’aime bien, ça donne une idée des coulisses, où le travail du scénariste n’est pas seulement une simple exécution. Et aussi qu’ils s’attachent à des personnages secondaires qui, à leurs yeux, ne sont pas interchangeables (je pense à Marcy Kane qui passe de Spectacular Spider-Man à Jack of Hearts, par exemple).

ben ayant relu la saga satana dans l omnibus marvel horror le retour… tu vois que claremoint avait des plans… et que là il a un peu conclu le tout rapidement… (des années apres)

Voilà, je pense qu’il a saisi l’occasion et qu’il a donné un destin à son personnage dans la pagination impartie, de peur que ce soit encore repoussé.
(Incidemment, le Marvel Premiere #27 est bien étrange : en plus du discours féministe qui associe la chasse aux sorcières à l’oppression sexiste, on a quand même un méchant qui change de sexe dans l’épisode, en passant par la phase « femme à barbe ». Quelle période…)
