For 50 years, Marvel Comics has dared to ask What If?, putting bold twists on major Marvel moments and opening the floodgates to the multiverse! To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original What If? series, Marvel will publish eight all-new What If…? one-shots this summer. Crafted by some of today’s biggest talents, the new one-shots shake the foundations of every corner of the Marvel mythos beginning with startling stories starring the X-Men and Thor and continuing with epic reimaginings of pivotal storylines like Secret Wars and Kraven’s Last Hunt!
The new one-shots kick off in June with *What If…? Uncanny X-Men #*1, where Gerry Duggan and Jan Bazaldua put a spin on one of comics’ most tragic love stories, and What If…? Thor #1,which sees Torunn Grønbekk and Sergio Dávila shift symbiote history towards a mighty new destiny!

Gros bof. Gerry Duggan ne me convainc pas avec un récit un peu lourd, un peu facile, avec des événements précipités et un Cyclope extrême trop rapidement. Tout va trop vite et pas grand-chose n’est emballant.
Énormément de facilités avec des dessins juste corrects de Jan Bazaldua.
Gros bof.

Tente quand même, ce n’est que mon avis. 
Sympathique mais presque hors sujet. Torunn Gronnbek livre un bon récit, où Thor prend le symbiote sur Battleworld pour remplacer sa cape et s’y habitue puis revient en Asgard où Heimdall évoque une menace de Géants des Glaces sur la Terre. Thor mène les Asgardiens dont Loki, et ils découvrent des dragons symbiotes. Le symbiote réagit mal au tonnerre puis ils tombent dans un piège de Knull, qui dirige tout ça. Thor est torturé pour que Knull récupère son pouvoir et le symbiote se sacrifie pour libérer Thor, qui combat ensuite Knull des jours avant de le bannir. Loki récupère un bout du symbiote en secret alors que les Asgardiens célèbrent.
C’est bien mais un peu hors sujet. On a bien un Thor avec le symbiote, mais on switche trop vite vers la lutte contre Knull. Celle-ci est bonne et la relation avec le symbiote est bonne, mais le scénario évite trop facilement la possession et les dérives. Dommage, alors que Sergio Davila livre de bonnes planches dynamiques.
Un bon récit mais plutôt hors sujet.
